Kenneth
L. Rose, Ph.D. (left) joins Henkels & McCoy and serves as Executive Vice
President and Chief Operating Officer, responsible for the operations of
Henkels & McCoy’s nationwide network of operating divisions. In 1987, he
will become President and COO and will be promoted to President and Chief
Executive Officer in 1992. As CEO he is responsible for business growth and
profitability. Prior to coming to Henkels & McCoy, Dr. Rose spent 20 years
with Ford Aerospace, starting as an individual technical contributor and
ultimately attaining the level of Group Vice President for space missions
and communications. Ken Rose will retire from Henkels & McCoy in 2003 but
will remain on the Board of Directors.

Terrorists seize an Egyptian Boeing 737 airliner soon after taking off from
Athens, Greece. Later, 59 people will die as Egyptian forces storm the plane
on Malta the following day.
